This post goes out to all of you who have been to the studio and drooled and pointed and commented on this image hanging in the lobby. Madelyn celebrated being one year old with a bright pink cake on a vibrant purple backdrop. I added the texture and design during post processing for a little something extra.
THANK YOU to everyone who attended ROOTS today! We had tons of great questions, plenty of shooting time, and a LOT was learned. This class showed the best understanding of manual exposures of any of our workshops so far! We truly hope you left us today with an understanding of how to get the kind of images you want...and if you don't...we hope you know how to recognize what you did wrong and fix it! Thanks to our wonderful model, my little sister, Erin. I was so busy teaching that I just didn't shoot very much. But, this is what I got from our outdoor lesson in natural light photography...
