I like to think that most professional photographers don't ever get around to shooting for fun...not to mention ever getting to post/share/edit anything they happen to get to shoot for fun.  Well, I happen to love vacation photography.  My husband's family takes the whole gang on a trip each year and in 2008 we ventured to London, England!  2 years later I am sharing a few, FEW, of the hundreds of photos taken on that trip.  Please enjoy, comment and then enjoy some more...

 

 

My hubby, Chris, and his buddy, David, braved a half-marathon this September.  SEE HOW BUSY I AM?  I AM JUST NOW POSTING THIS!  Anywho...here are some shots of how the day went.  I left out quite a few so as not to accurately show how painfully long and hard this was.  This was a first for both of them...

In these shots you can see where Chris and David passed their 5-mile mark...Chris gave a thumbs-up and David got a high-five from his niece...

At the end of the race I spotted Chris making his final approach.  Can you find him running towards the finish line?

We were so proud of our boys!!!  I know I will never have the desire to do a marathon, nor the capability!  So, go forth and be amazing Chris and David.

 

The Penney's take a family vacation every year (thank you from the bottom of my heart, Tom and Judy!).  We have been to Winter Park, San Francisco, London, and now Sedona.  We did waaaay more than I am posting here, but I have a tendency to put my travel photography on the back burner.  So, here are a few I know I like.  Pardon the blurbs in the collages.  I hoped they would explain things, but I decided they just look dumb and don't really help.  With that in mind...enjoy!
